Section 266.3865 - Notice of special election: Publication; contents1. If the resolution adopted pursuant to NRS 266.386 calls a special election, the city clerk shall cause a notice of the election to be published in a newspaper printed in the county and having a general circulation in the city at least once a week for 2 consecutive weeks by two weekly insertions a week apart, the first publication to be not more than 14 days nor less than 8 days next preceding the election.2. The notice of the special election must contain: (a) The time and places of holding the election.(b) The hours during the day in which the polls will be open, which must be the same as provided for general elections.(c) A statement of the question in substantially the same form as it will appear on the ballots.Added to NRS by 1969, 863; A 1993, 1040Added to NRS by 1969, 863; A 1993, 1040
