Section 266.024 - Amendment of petition; verification of additional signatures1. A petition which lacks the required number of signatures may be amended once if the committee files a notice to amend with the county clerk within 2 days after it receives written notice from the county clerk pursuant to NRS 266.023. The committee must file with the county clerk an amended petition containing the additional required signatures within 8 days after it files a notice to amend. An amended petition must comply with the requirements of the petition as originally filed.2.
