Section 240.270 - Fee for commission; oath and bond1. Each commissioned abstracter, before entering upon the acts authorized in NRS 240.240 to 240.330, inclusive, and at the time the commissioned abstracter receives his or her commission, shall: (a) Pay to the Secretary of State the sum of $10.(b) Take the official oath as prescribed by law, which oath shall be endorsed on his or her commission.(c) Enter into a bond to the State of Nevada in the sum of $2,000, to be approved by the district judge of the county for which the commissioned abstracter may be appointed.2.
