Section 128.030 - Place for filing petition A petition alleging that a child should be declared free from the custody and control of his or her parent or parents may be filed at the election of the petitioner in:
1. The county in which the child is found;2. The county in which the acts complained of occurred;3. The county in which the child resides;4. The county in which the child is the subject of another court proceeding;5. The county in which an agency which provides child welfare services is located;6. The county in which the guardian or custodian of the child resides;7. The county in which the defendant resides; or8.
