Section 7-12-2122 - Term of office of multicounty district trustee(1) The trustees appointed upon the creation of a district shall serve staggered terms of 1, 2, and 3 years. After the initial appointments, each trustee serves a term of 3 years.(2) A trustee holds office for the term of appointment or until a successor is appointed and qualified.En.
