Section 50-50-202 - Exemptions from license requirement(1) A retail food establishment owned or operated by the state or a political subdivision of the state, if that political subdivision employs a full-time sanitarian, is exempt from licensure under this chapter but shall comply with the requirements of this chapter and rules adopted by the department under this chapter.
