Section 37-56-102 - Department powers and duties - rulemaking(1) The department shall: (a) license and renew the licenses of qualified applicants; and(b) adopt rules related to: (i) eligibility requirements and competency standards;(iii) defining unprofessional conduct that is not included in 37-1-410.(2) The department may: (a) adopt rules necessary to implement the provisions of this part; and(b) establish licensure requirements and procedures as appropriate.Added by Laws 2023, Ch. 482,Sec. 2, eff. 10/1/2023.
