Section 37-17-309 - Foreign-trained applicants

The transcripts of a foreign-trained applicant for licensure as a psychologist must be evaluated by a board-approved agency that reviews credentials. Upon receipt of this evaluation, the board shall determine whether the number of academic credits awarded and academic areas studied meets equivalent educational standards for a doctoral degree in clinical psychology established by a graduate program approved by the American psychological association.
