Section 33-16-104 - Payment of dividends, savings, or unabsorbed premium deposits not prohibited or regulated - plan for payment not rating system

Nothing in this chapter may be construed to prohibit or regulate the payment of dividends, savings, or unabsorbed premium deposits allowed or returned by insurers to their policyholders, members, or subscribers. A plan for the payment of dividends, savings, or unabsorbed premium deposits allowed or returned by insurers to their policyholders, members, or subscribers may not be considered a rating plan or system. A plan for the payment of dividends, savings, or unabsorbed premium deposits allowed or returned by insurers to their policyholders, members, or subscribers does not relieve the insurer from complying with any requirements of this chapter regarding rating plans or systems.
