Section 27-1-401 - When specific or preventive relief permitted

Specific or preventive relief may be given in the cases specified in this part and Title 28, chapter 2, parts 16 and 17, and in no others. Neither specific nor preventive relief can be granted to enforce a penal law, except in a case of nuisance, or to enforce the penalty or forfeiture in any case.
