Section 2-4-403 - Legislative intent - poll(1) Subject to 2-4-112, if the legislature is not in session, the committee may poll all members of the legislature by mail to determine whether a proposed rule is consistent with the intent of the legislature.(2) If 20 or more legislators object to a proposed rule, the committee shall poll the members of the legislature.(3) The poll must include an opportunity for the agency to present a written justification for the proposed rule to the members of the legislature.Amended by Laws 2021, Ch. 102,Sec. 7, eff. 3/31/2021.En. 82-4203.5 by Sec. 4, Ch. 410, L. 1975; amd.
