Section 2-16-115 - Signature of officer acting ex officio

When an officer discharges ex officio the duties of an office other than that to which the officer is elected or appointed, the officer's official signature and attestation, except as otherwise provided by law, must be in the name of the office of which the officer discharges the duties.
