Section 2-15-302 - Powers and duties of lieutenant governor(1) The lieutenant governor may: (a) prescribe rules for the administration of the office;(b) hire personnel for the office and establish policy to be followed by the personnel; and(c) compile and submit a budget for the office.(2) The lieutenant governor shall perform the duties provided by law and those delegated to the lieutenant governor by the governor.En.
