Section 2-15-1771 - Board of athletic trainers(1) In accordance with 37-1-123, there is a board of athletic trainers.(2) The board consists of five members: (a) one physician, preferably with a background in the practice of sports medicine;(b) three athletic trainers: (i) one athletic trainer with experience in one or more postsecondary educational institutions;(ii) one athletic trainer with experience in one or more secondary schools; and(iii) one athletic trainer with experience in one or more health care or athletic facilities; and(3) The board is allocated to the department as prescribed in 2-15-121.(4) Members must be compensated as provided in 2-18-501 through 2-18-503.Amended by Laws 2023, Ch. 620,Sec. 33, eff. 7/1/2023.En.
