Section 379.465 - Exchange of information - agreement to rates1. Every rating organization and insurer may exchange information and experience data with insurers and rating organizations in this and other states and may consult with them with respect to ratemaking and the application of rating systems.2. With the approval of the director, agreements may be made between two or more insurers to adhere to rates, rating plans, rating systems or underwriting practices or uniform modifications thereof for any of the classes of insurance included in sections 379.420 to 379.510.3. With the approval of the director, agreements may also be made among insurers with respect to the equitable apportionment among them of insurance which may be afforded applicants who are in good faith entitled to but who are unable to procure such insurance through ordinary methods, and with respect to the use of reasonable rate modifications for such insurance.4. Such agreements shall be submitted in written form to the director for his consideration together with such information as he may require to determine whether they are consistent with the provisions of sections 379.420 to 379.510 and otherwise in the public interest.
