Section 376.510 - Penalty for violation of section 376.500

Any life insurance company or association which may violate any of the provisions of section 376.500 or which may permit any of its agents or representatives in this state to violate said provisions, shall have its certificate of authority, or license to transact business in Missouri, revoked by the state director of the department of commerce and insurance, and shall be, for a period of five years, barred from the further transaction of business in this state; and any agent, solicitor or representative in this state of any such insurance company or association, who shall violate any of the provisions of section 376.500, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof, in any court of competent jurisdiction in this state, shall be fined not less than fifty nor more than five hundred dollars for each such offense, or imprisoned in the county or city jail, for not less than thirty days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
