Section 337.085 - Fees, collection, disposition, use1. There is hereby established in the state treasury a fund to be known as the "State Committee of Psychologists Fund". All fees of any kind and character authorized under sections 337.010 to 337.090 to be charged by the committee or division shall be collected by the director of the division of professional registration and shall be transmitted to the department of revenue for deposit in the state treasury for credit to this fund. Such funds, upon appropriation, shall be disbursed only in payment of expenses of maintaining the committee and for the enforcement of the provisions of law concerning professions regulated by the committee. No other money shall be paid out of the state treasury for carrying out these provisions. Warrants shall be issued on the state treasurer for payment out of the fund.2. The provisions of section 33.080 to the contrary notwithstanding, money in this fund shall not be transferred and placed to the credit of general revenue until the amount in the fund at the end of the biennium exceeds two times the amount of the appropriation from the committee's fund for the preceding fiscal year or, if the committee requires by rule renewal less frequently than yearly then three times the appropriation from the committee's fund for the preceding fiscal year. The amount, if any, in the fund which shall lapse is that amount in the fund which exceeds the appropriate multiple of the appropriations from the committee's fund for the preceding fiscal year.3. All funds pertaining to the Missouri state committee of psychologists deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the committee of registration for the healing arts fund shall be transferred from that fund to the state committee of psychologists fund by the division director.L. 1981 S.B. 16, A.L. 1989 H.B. 738 & 720, A.L. 2004S.B. 1122
