Section 91-8-107 - Governing law(a) The validity, construction and administration of a trust are determined by the law of the jurisdiction designated in the terms of the trust instrument.(b) In the absence of a controlling designation in the terms of the trust, the laws of the jurisdiction where the trust was executed determine the validity of the trust, construction of the trust instrument and the laws of descent, while the laws of the principal place of administration determine the administration of the trust.Added by Laws, 2014, ch. 421, SB 2727, 7, eff. 7/1/2014.
