"State of Mississippi, ____________________ County
"Before me, ____________________, a justice of the peace of the said county, ____________________ makes oath that he was employed by ____________________ during the year A. D. ____________________, as a laborer, and as such, and under his employment, assisted to make a crop of cotton and corn, which yielded ____________________ bales of cotton and ____________________ bushels of corn, which are now in the possession of ____________________, and the same is at ____________________, in said county; and that affiant is, by his contract and services, entitled to one-half of said cotton and corn, the same being of the value of ____________________ dollars, which the said ____________________ withholds from him [or whatever may be the claim]. Affiant claims a lien on all of said cotton and corn for the recovery of his share or interest therein, and that ____________________ and ____________________ claim a like lien thereon. Affiant prays process according to law.
