Section 69-21-125 - Penalties for violations; injunctive relief to prevent violations(1) Violation of this article, the rules and regulations adopted by the department, a condition included in a license issued by the department or an order issued by the department shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six (6) months, or by both fine and imprisonment.(2) The department shall have the authority to file in any court of competent jurisdiction injunctive proceedings against any person violating the provisions of this article or the rules and regulations promulgated by the department for the administration and enforcement of this article.
