Section 41-67-27 - [Repealed Effective 7/1/2028] Registration required for manufacturers of individual on-site wastewater disposal system components to operate or do business in state; penaltiesA person may not operate a business in or do business in the State of Mississippi as a manufacturer of components used in an individual on-site wastewater disposal system without holding a valid manufacturer's registration issued by the department. If any person is operating in the state as a manufacturer without certification by the department, the department, after due notice and opportunity for a hearing, may impose a monetary penalty not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for each violation.
