Section 41-19-155 - Penalties

Any person who:

(1) under the provisions of Sections 41-19-141 through 41-19-157 knowingly and unlawfully or improperly causes a person to be adjudged to be a person with an intellectual disability;
(2) procures the escape of a legally committed resident or knowingly conceals an escaped legally committed resident of the center; or
(3) unlawfully brings any firearm, deadly weapon or explosive into the center or its grounds or passes any thereof to a resident, employee or officer of the center is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or both.
