Section 17-17-441 - Development and administration of program; promulgation of rules and regulations for administration of funds for grants for establishment of household hazardous waste collection and management programs(1) The department shall develop and administer the Right-Way-To-Throw-Away Program.(2) The commission shall promulgate rules and regulations for the administration of funds, as may be appropriated or otherwise made available, for grants to counties, municipalities and multicounty agencies for the establishment and operation of household hazardous waste collection and management programs. The commission shall give priority to those programs operated by multicounty agencies.Laws, 1991, ch. 531, § 21, eff. 7/1/1991.
