Section 43A.28 - ENROLLMENT
Subdivision 1.General.

The time, manner, and conditions and terms of eligibility for enrollment of persons eligible for state paid or individual paid life insurance, hospital, medical and dental benefits, and optional coverages authorized shall be determined and prescribed by the commissioner according to collective bargaining agreements and plans established pursuant to section 43A.18.

Subd. 2.Audit data.

Data submitted to the commissioner by individuals for the purposes of a dependent eligibility audit conducted pursuant to Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter 10, article 3, section 40, for life insurance and hospital, medical, and dental benefits are private data on individuals as defined in section 13.02, subdivision 12, provided that the data may be shared with and used by an employer if necessary to pursue any action arising out of apparent ineligibility of a dependent.
