For the purposes of this section, the term "auxiliary hazard warning lighting system" means a system installed by the manufacturer of a snowmobile as original equipment or installed in a snowmobile by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer of that manufacturer as an aftermarket system that does the following when activated:
An insurer must provide an appropriate premium reduction of at least five percent on a policy insuring the snowmobile, or on that portion of a policy insuring a snowmobile that is issued, delivered, or renewed in this state, to the insured whose snowmobile is equipped with an authorized auxiliary hazard warning lighting system. The premium reduction required by this subdivision applies to every snowmobile of the insured that is equipped with an auxiliary hazard warning lighting system.
