Section 500.7012 - Fees; payment and collection; service of process; designation and purpose of fees(1) The commissioner shall collect, and the persons affected shall pay to the commissioner, the following fees: (a) | Filing fee to accompany application for certificate of authority....................... | $ | 200.00. |

(2) Each MEWA shall appoint the commissioner as its resident agent for purposes of service of process. The fee for such service shall be in the amount of $5.00, payable at the time of service.(3) Fees paid under this section shall be designated for the insurance bureau to cover the additional costs incurred as a result of this chapter.Add. 1986, Act 121, Eff. 7/1/1986.
