Section 390.8 - University of Michigan; departments

The university shall consist of at least 3 departments:

1.A department of literature, science and the arts;

2.A department of law;

3.A department of medicine;

4.Such other departments may be added as the regents shall deem necessary, and the state of the university fund shall allow.
