Section 324.80217 - Dealers of personal watercraft; advising buyer about sources of boating safety courses; violation; fine(1) A dealer of a new or used personal watercraft shall advise each person who buys a personal watercraft from the dealer of the sources of boating safety courses in the area.(2) A dealer who violates this section is responsible for a state civil infraction and shall be ordered to pay a civil fine in the amount of $100.00.Amended with no change by 2008, Act 178,s 3 , eff. 3/31/2009.The repeal of this section by 2004, Act 27, s 2, eff. 3/23/2012, was repealed by 2008, Act 178,s 3 , eff. 3/31/2009.Add. 2000, Act 229, Imd.
