3.Standing committee. The council, by appropriate action of the legislative bodies of the member municipalities, may establish a standing committee to prepare and maintain a comprehensive regional plan. [1987, c. 737, Pt. 4.Transfer. Where a regional planning commission has been established under article 3, the member municipalities, by appropriate action, may provide for the transfer of all assets, liabilities, rights and obligations of the commission to the council and provide for the dissolution of the commission.
