Section 1760 - Examination and impoundment of vehicles1.Examination for compliance. A law enforcement officer in uniform may stop and examine a motor vehicle to determine whether the vehicle's equipment complies with the requirements of section 1756. [1993, c. 683, Pt. 3.Probable cause for inspection. A law enforcement officer may require the operator to proceed to an official inspection station and submit the vehicle to an inspection and tests as may be appropriate on reasonable grounds to believe that:A.
