As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [1989, c. 516, §2(NEW).]
1.Average lane miles maintained.[1999, c. 473, Pt. D, §2(RP).]
1-A.Capital improvement. "Capital improvement" means any work on a road or bridge that has a life expectancy of at least 10 years or restores the load-carrying capacity. [1999, c. 473, Pt. D, §3(NEW).]
2.Lane miles. "Lane miles" means a length of road measured in miles multiplied by the number of travel lanes for that length of road. [1995, c. 678, §2(NEW); 1995, c. 678, §7(AFF).]
