Section 3196 - Coverage for non-Medicaid services to MaineCare members1.Coverage. The department shall provide coverage for abortion services to a MaineCare member. [2019, c. 274, §1(NEW).]
2.Funding. Abortion services that are not federally approved Medicaid services must be funded by state funds within existing resources. [2019, c. 274, §1(NEW).]
3.Rulemaking. The department shall adopt rules to implement this section. Rules adopted pursuant to this subsection are routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A. [2019, c. 274, §1(NEW).]
