Section 5-702 - Priority of private guardian or conservator

A public guardian or conservator may not be appointed if the court determines that a suitable private guardian or conservator is available and willing to assume the responsibilities of a guardian or conservator. [2017, c. 402, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 2019, c. 417, Pt. B, §14(AFF).]
