Section 951 - DefinitionsAs used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [2001, c. 640, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 2001, c. 640, Pt. B, §7(AFF).]
1.Converting entity. "Converting entity" means the domestic business corporation or domestic unincorporated entity that adopts a plan of entity conversion or the foreign unincorporated entity converting to a domestic business corporation. 2.Surviving entity. "Surviving entity" means the corporation or unincorporated entity as it continues in existence immediately after consummation of an entity conversion pursuant to this subchapter. [2001, c. 640, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 2001, c. 640, Pt. B, §7(AFF).]
