Section 9:2262.1 - DefinitionsA. As used in this Chapter, "foreign trust" shall mean any of the following:(1) A trust which by the terms of the trust instrument is governed by the law of a jurisdiction other than Louisiana.(2) A trust of which the settlor was domiciled in a jurisdiction other than Louisiana at the time the trust was created.B. As used in this Chapter, "institutional trustee" shall mean an entity entitled to serve as a trustee pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 9:1783(A)(2) and (B).
