Section 6:1340 - False advertisingA. No savings bank shall issue, publish, or cause or permit to be issued or published, any advertisement which, in part or taken as a whole, is in any way false or misleading.B. The commissioner may require any association to file a true copy of the text of any advertisement in the office of the commissioner within two days after the issuance, circulation, or publication of such advertisement. All of the powers of this Part shall be available to the commissioner as the result of an association's violation of this Part.Acts 1990, No. 816, §1, eff.
