Section 56:2013 - Revocation of licensesA. The department may revoke or suspend any license issued under the provisions of this Chapter upon a determination by the department that the holder of the license has violated the provisions of this Chapter or the rules and regulations of the commission; however, the licensee shall be entitled to an appeal from his revocation or suspension through an adjudicatory hearing pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq.B. The department shall notify each person whose license has been revoked or suspended, by certified mail, return receipt requested.C.
