Section 51:3274 - Violations; civil remedies; penaltiesA. A housing provider that violates the provisions of this Chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars per violation.B. A tenant may bring a civil action against a housing provider in violation of the provisions of this Chapter to enjoin further violation and recover penalties pursuant to Subsection A of this Section.C. The attorney general may bring an action against a housing provider in violation of the provisions of this Chapter to seek injunctive relief and to impose penalties pursuant to Subsection A of this Section.Added by Acts 2024, No. 577,s. 1, eff. 8/1/2024.
