Section 48:2084.7 - Public-private partnership projects; funding resources; federal, state, and local assistanceA. Any financing of a qualifying transportation facility may be in such amounts and upon such terms and conditions as may be determined by the parties in the comprehensive agreement. Additionally, the private entity and the authority may utilize any and all funding resources available, and may, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, issue debt, both taxable and tax exempt, equity, or other securities or obligations, enter into leases, borrow or accept grants, and secure any financing with a pledge of security interest in or lien on any or all of its property, including all of its property interests in the qualifying transportation facility.B. The authority may take any action to obtain federal, state, or local assistance for a qualifying transportation facility which serves the public purpose of this Chapter and may enter into any contracts required to receive such assistance. Any funds received from an agency or instrumentality of the state or federal government shall be subject to appropriation by the legislature.C. The authority may agree to participate with the private entity in the costs of a public-private partnership project from revenues received from any agency or instrumentality of the federal, state, or local government.La.
