Section 46:1919 - Reports by the departmentThe department shall:
(1) Make a full and complete report annually to the governor and the legislature with respect to its activities under this Chapter which shall include recommendation as to the necessary fiscal, administrative, or legislative measures needed for the prevention of juvenile delinquency and for the care and treatment of delinquent children.(2) Take such action as is necessary and desirable to bring the contents of the report to the attention of the people of the state.(3) Make such additional reports and recommendations to the governor and the legislature as they may from time to time request or as the department may deem warranted.Added by Acts 1974, No. 558, §1, emerg. eff.
