Section 40:1300.42 - DefinitionsAs used in this Part, the following terms have the following meanings ascribed to them unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) "Eligible medical condition" means Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel disease, or any other medical condition that requires the use of an ostomy device or immediate access to a restroom.(2) "Ostomy device" means a medical device that creates an artificial passage for elimination of body waste.(3) "Retail establishment" means any business whether a sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership, or otherwise that holds or stores articles, products, commodities, items, or components for sale to the public or to other retail establishments.La.
