Section 40:580.5 - Injunction against public officerA. Any persons affected by an order issued by the public officer may apply to the district court for an injunction restraining the public officer from carrying out the provisions of the order. The court may, upon such application, issue an order restraining the public officer pending final disposition of the cause. Hearings shall be had by the court on the application within twenty days of its filing, or as soon thereafter as possible, and shall be given preference over other matters on the court's calendar.B. In all such proceedings the findings of the public officer as to facts, if supported by evidence, are conclusive. Costs shall be in the discretion of the court.La. Public Health and Safety § 40:580.5
