Section 40:564 - ViolationsA. Any person who knowingly and willfully requests or obtains any wage record or unemployment compensation information under false pretense, or who knowingly and willfully discloses any such information in any manner to any individual not entitled under law to receive it shall be subject to criminal and civil penalties under all appropriate federal and state laws, including R.S. 23:1660(C) related to the improper disclosure of wage records and unemployment compensation data and federal penalties for improper disclosure of information of public housing authority records which are covered under the Privacy Act of 1974.B. The contact person at any participating housing authority receiving wage record and unemployment insurance information shall promptly report any suspected or known request or disclosure violations to the Louisiana Workforce Commission and shall immediately deny the persons involved further access to such information.La.
