Section 4:150.1 - Temporary licenses to owners; application for regular license; penalty for noncomplianceA. Notwithstanding R.S. 4:150, the commission may grant a temporary license, valid for thirty days from the date of issuance, to an owner upon proper, appropriate application therefor, either by the owner or his authorized agent or trainer on behalf of the owner.B. The application shall include, but not be limited to, the following (3) Owner's federal identification number.C. As provided in R.S. 4:150, an owner receiving a temporary license from the commission under this Section shall apply for a Louisiana owner's license, within thirty days of the issuance of his temporary license.D. For the purposes of this Section, "owner" means the person, firm, or corporation shown on the foal certificate as the owner of one hundred percent interest in the horse the owner is seeking to race in this state.E.
