Section 37:3518 - Reciprocity; licensure without examination; agreement with other statesA. A person holding a license to engage in the private investigator business issued to him by a proper authority of any state, territory, or possession of the United States, or the District of Columbia that has licensing requirements comparable to Louisiana, and who in the opinion of the board, otherwise meets the requirements of this Chapter, upon application may be licensed without further examination.B. The board shall have the power to enter into an agreement with other states or territories or possessions of the United States or with the District of Columbia for reciprocity or recognition of private investigators duly licensed by such states, territories or possessions, or the District of Columbia.
