Section 37:2509 - PenaltiesA. It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to:(1) Sell or fraudulently obtain or furnish any license or aid or abet therein.(2) Practice as a nursing facility administrator, under cover of any license or registration illegally or fraudulently obtained or unlawfully issued.(3) Practice as a nursing facility administrator or use in connection with his name any designation tending to imply that he is a nursing facility administrator unless duly licensed and registered to so practice under the provisions of this Chapter.(4) Practice as a nursing facility administrator with a license or registration issued under the provisions of this Chapter which is suspended or revoked.(5) Otherwise violate any of the provisions of this Chapter.B. Such misdemeanor shall be punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year or both.Added by Acts 1969, No. 131, §9; Acts 1992, No. 241, §1, eff.
