Section 37:1320 - License or certificate renewal; waiver of renewals while in the militaryA. Each license or certificate shall be renewed annually, before January first of each year, by forwarding to the board a renewal application on a form recommended by the committee and adopted by the board accompanied by a renewal fee as provided in this Part. Each licensee or certificate holder, upon making application for renewal of a license or certificate, shall submit evidence of fulfillment of continuing education requirements satisfactory to the board.B. The committee may recommend and the board may continue licensure or certification without application for renewal for any clinical laboratory personnel licensed or certified under this Part while the individual is in the active military service of the United States or any of its allies, upon notification by the licensee or certificate holder to the committee of that fact.Acts 1993, No. 396, §2, eff.
