Section 37:1317 - Committee and board immunityThere shall be no liability on the part of and no action for damages against:
(1) Any member of the committee or board, its agents or employees, or any member of a subcommittee appointed or designated by the committee or board, for action undertaken or performed by such individual within the scope of the duties, powers, and functions of the board, committee, or such subcommittee when such individual's action is without malice and in the reasonable belief that the action undertaken is warranted.(2) Any individual providing information to the board or committee, its agents or employees, or to a subcommittee appointed or designated by the board or committee, without malice and in the reasonable belief that such information is accurate.Acts 1993, No. 396, §2, eff.
