Section 23:1310.5.1 - Stays
A. Upon an uncontested motion to stay or a joint motion to stay of the parties, the workers' compensation judge shall order a stay of the proceeding on a claim and the stay shall remain in effect as long as the parties jointly agree.
B. If the motion to stay is granted, a telephone status conference shall be set at such intervals occurring at least every six months as directed by the workers' compensation judge.
C. The provisions of the Louisiana Administrative Code 40:1.5705(A) regarding abandonment shall not apply to any matter subject to a stay order pursuant to this Section during the pendency of the stay.
