Section 11:3632 - Board of trustees of fund; membersA. There is created a board of trustees for the administration, management, operation, and control of the police pension fund in the city of New Orleans.B. In addition to former superintendents of police who are retired on pension, the board shall be composed of nine members. The board shall also be composed of the superintendent of police, director of finance, senior deputy superintendent of police, and six members from the active or retired rank of the police department who were active or retired members of the police pension fund of the city of New Orleans prior to March 6, 1983 provided that any person who was an active member of the Municipal Police Employees' Retirement System or who was receiving a benefit from the Municipal Police Employees' Retirement System prior to March 6, 1983 shall not be considered as an active or retired member eligible to service on the board by election thereto nor to fill a vacancy as provided in R.S. 11:3633.La.
